Our Mission

Life at college can be exciting and challenging. Handling coursework, dealing with the pressures of work and school, living with roommates, socializing, and being exposed to new ideas and lifestyles can bring new friends, new lessons, new questions - and also, at times, new anxieties. Often, talking with someone about these issues can be helpful and even necessary for your mental and emotional health.

The mission of the Office of Counseling & Accessibility Services is to promote personal growth and skills development. We’re here to help you through a variety of free and confidential services.

Do you wonder if you have a problem with alcohol use, depression/suicidality, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or generalized anxiety disorder (GAD)? Click on our online mental health self-assessment link for anonymous and private screening. For alcohol abuse, view the Alcohol eCHECKUP TO GO, an interactive web-based alcohol education and private prevention program.
