The United Nations (U.N.) General Assembly will take place Tues. Sept. 19 through Fri. Sept. 22. President Trump and many global leaders will be in attendance. This will likely create significant traffic delays, including periodic street closures and blockades throughout Midtown Manhattan, particularly in the vicinity of LIM College’s academic buildings.
As indicated on the academic calendar, LIM will be closed on the first day of the U.N. General Assembly (Sept. 19), as, historically, this is the day likely to have the most significant impact on our operations. The College will also be closed on Thursday, September 21 in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
LIM College will be open and in full operation on Mon. Sept. 18, Wed. Sept. 20, and Fri. Sept. 22. All faculty, staff, and students are expected to be present on those days, so please plan accordingly and allow additional travel time, as you may experience delays traveling to and from classes and activities.
